Group 5 to 7 years

Group 6 to 9 years

Program description

It is often the first time the youngest children in 'SKY' are separated from their parents to spend one hour with unfamiliar children and adults. This is why we first work on healthy separation and socialization, so that children would go through as little stress as possible while adapting to the group. We further work on improving basic motor skills through elements of athletics and gymnastics included in entertaining polygons. In addition, we perform anthropomorphological tests.

In most cases, the older group has already completed our basic program. These children are slowly moving on to more demanding tasks for motor skills development, such as running and jumping techniques, performing anthropological and ability tests, comparison and monitoring. The tasks also include more advanced gymnastic elements (e.g. handstand, standing up from a bridge, assisted somersault, cartwheel, etc.) in comparison to younger group (e.g. forward and backword rolls). Children get familiar with the more demanding elements of sports gymnastics and prepare for entering other sports in the future without stressing about learning the elements. Polygons of versatility, with and without a ball, are also a part of this program.

Mini sports make the crown of our work. At the age of 7 to 9, children train the following sports during one season or year: football (September-November), basketball (December-February), handball (March-June). Our handball camp takes place at the beginning of July and then we all enjoy summer holiday until August.

This way of realizing both basic training and familiarization with sports is aimed at improving motor skills and adaptation for inclusion in club sports and competitions later on. Our children train and get to know the clubs that work in a particular sport: they play friendly football, handball and basketball matches. In this way, it is easier for children and parents to choose the best sport with the help of our recommendations based on the anthropological tests and character traits. Every child is fit for a sport, they just need to be properly directed, monitored and supported. And this is not easy even for us who deal with it professionally, let alone the parents. That is why we are truly dedicated and sincere in work with children: the form is being created for decades, while the sensitive periods for the development of motor skills last from the age of 3 to 7 and from the age of 7 to 12. There is a different age for the optimal development of each ability. For this reason, we designed programs that monitor several parameters at the same time.
